  3.                   INSTALLATON INSTRUCTIONS

  5.      To enjoy the reports in the archive ORIGINS1.ZIP simply
  6. unarchive the ZIP file to a directory of your choice,
  7. preferably that which contains the files for your ASCII
  8. editor. If you have the Microscoft Word for Windows version,
  9. decompress the files to your WinWord directory itself.
  10. Files may be opened and read as you would any text or doc
  11. file.

  13.                        COPYRIGHT STUFF

  15.      This material is protected by U.S. copyright laws and
  16. may not be reproduced in any media without express written
  17. permission of the author.  In the past, I have given such
  18. permission when classes or study groups have wished to
  19. provide printouts of selected material for study and
  20. discussion.
  21.      You may freely distribute the shareware archive of this
  22. project (ORIGINS1.ZIP) as you wish; I urge and encourage you
  23. to do so.  Please do not distribute in any manner the
  24. registered version of  ORIGINS.  You may not alter in any
  25. manner the documents in either the shareware or registered
  26. versions of ORIGINS.  To do so would violate the integrity
  27. of the work and would be a serious abrogation of copyright

  47.      If you have the shareware version of ORIGINS, your
  48. archive should have the following files: intro.txt,
  49. matsesh.txt, originsh.txt, readme.txt, and register.txt.
  50. The registered version of ORIGINS contains the following
  51. files with .txt or .doc extensions depending upon whether
  52. you ordered a version in ASCII or Word for Windows format:
  53. intro, matse, origins, readme and register.  In the
  54. shareware version, the preview of the report about Peter
  55. Gorman's experiences with Matse shamanism is the file
  56. matsesh.txt  and the preview of Alexander Marshak's research
  57. about the origins of mythology in the European Upper
  58. Paleolithic is the file origins.txt; see intro.txt.  If any
  59. files are missing from your archive, please contact us
  60. immediately and we will mail you a new, complete archive of
  61. ORIGINS. TO OBTAIN THE COMPLETE RESEARCH REPORTS YOU MUST

  66.     A major study of celtic druids, their lives, training and 
  67. sacred lore.  Exhaustive and definitive.

  69.     An update to TimeLine, our historical timeline 10,000 B.C. 
  70. to 900 A.D.  Much rewriting and additional significant new material, 
  71. particularly for Asia.

  73.                     RELEASES SCHEDULE FOR 1994

  75.     A major update to the study of the Great Goddess in India and 
  76. Tibet.  Significant new archeological material and mythology drawn from 
  77. important works published in India which are not available in the 
  78. U.S. except by special import.

  80.     Finally, the fullblown TimeLine which will jump several version 
  81. numbers: if MicroSoft can do that why can't we?  This TimeLine will 
  82. make full use of Window's OLE capability and will include hundreds of 
  83. embedded documents which add enormous detail to important line items 
  84. in the history of religion. Truly a breakthrough product in humanities 
  85. software!!  Watch for it sometime late in 1994.
